A hidden gem in Southern California, Pine Canyon Road has two technical hill sections with lovely hairpins bookending a fun, playful middle section full of left-right-left sweepers.
The only major downside here is the road surface; it's old, beat-up, has no centerline, and lots of sand and debris year-round. On the plus side, traffic is virtually nonexistent so you can really enjoy the twists and elevation changes.
This is a great connector if you're stitching together canyons between Lake Hughes and Lockwood Valley / Pine Mountain Club and is highly recommended if you're in the area!
Traffic: 5 = empty road, 1 = very busy.
