Old Spiral Highway

Another twisty old road that was bypassed by a newer grade on US95, Spiral Highway is a lovely little hidden gem just outside of Lewiston (Idaho's only seaport!). The inspiration behind the song "Hot Rod Lincoln" by Charlie Ryan, this little gem is worth a stop if you're in the area. Like many of the byways of Idaho, the road surface isn't the best, but there's fantastic views and very twisty curves as you make your way up the hill to the Lewiston Hill Overlook.
